A little more about me

A bit of fun for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Zoe Siskos, who I was recently introduced to (via Twitter) by a friend of mine wrote up this great post titled "57 Things About Me." I'm sure most of you remember these emails where you'd fill out the answers about yourself, send them around to friends and never hear back from them.

I like filling these out every once in a while because it's a great way to introduce yourself to those who don't fully know you yet through the internet. Simple questions that aren't too personal, but open yourself up for others to look at a bit more.

So, I filled out the questions below and added in another question. If you have the time, fill one out and post to your own blog or the comments below.

1. What time did you get up this morning? 8:40, 8:45 and 8:50. I snooze a lot.
2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds of course.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Twilight. Saw it last night and LOVED it without reading any of the books.
4. What is your favorite TV show? Lost. I don't let anyone talk to me when it's on. It's that bad.
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Egg white omelet. Although lately I've been having a lot of juice/smoothies.
6. What is your middle name? Leigh.
7. What food do you dislike? Peas. I eat around them.
8. What is your favorite CD at moment? Joshua Radin. We Were Here.
9. What kind of car do you drive? I have been driving a 2001 Kia for the past 2 months living at home. I drive it to the train station and back. I think it may explode if we drive it any further.
10. Favorite sandwich? Grilled veggies and mozzarella.
11. What characteristic do you despise? Ignorance.
12. Favorite item of clothing? My URI sweatpants. They're men's and super comfy. All of my friends from college have a pair.
13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I am dying to go to Greece.
14. Favorite brand of clothing?I'm not a brand girl.
15. Where would you retire to? Retirement isn't even in my long term career plan yet :)
16. What was your most recent memorable birthday? My 16th but only because it was such a big to do. And a friend jumped out of a big birthday box in his boxers. (My parents were in on this by the way.)
17. Favorite sport to watch? Basketball/Football
18. Furthest place you are sending this? Across the interwebs so who knows.
19. Person you expect to send it back first? Not applicable.
20. When is your birthday? November 21, 1983
21. Are you a morning person or a night person? Night. I can stay up for hours.

23. Pets? My parents dog Gabby
24. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share with us? I do have news but I'm not sharing it publicly until Friday. (No, I'm not engaged or pregnant so ease off.)
25. What did you want to be when you were little? Be a teacher. I still want to, but more like college teachings.
26. How are you today? Tired. I've been packing all weekend so mix in excited as well as we move TOMORROW.
27. What is your favorite candy? Anything sour and gummy.
28. What is your favorite flower? the ones that come from a handsome man in a tux. ;)
29. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? Dec 8th. This will go hand in hand with #24.
30. What is your favorite pastime? Soccer. I still enjoy kicking the soccer ball around outside with my sister. We played growing up and it's just a nice fun thing to do.
31. What are you listening to right now? My Joshua Radin channel on Pandora. Current song: "You Got Growin' Up to Do"
32. What was the last thing you ate? Cereal.
33. Do you wish on stars? Definitely.
35. How is the weather right now? Absolutely disgusting. Raining and sleet and cold.
36. The first person you spoke to on the phone today? No phone calls today.
37. Favorite soft drink? Diet Coke. Although I'm finally giving it up. For real this time it's so bad.
38. Favorite restaurant? Oohh so many to choose. I really can't pick one but I've written about some great ones on Yelp.
39. Real hair color? Dark brown.
40. What was your favorite toy as a child? Barbie.
41. Summer or winter? Summer.
42. Hugs or kisses? Hugs, although kisses from the right person are just fantastic.
43. Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate.
44. Coffee or tea? Coffee.

46. When was the last time you cried? This week. Stress crying.
47. What is under your bed? Nothing.
48. What did you do last night? Packed and saw Twilight.
49. What are you afraid of? Drowning. Not sure why because I'm a good swimmer but I've always been afraid of it.
50. Salty or sweet? Sweet.
51. How many keys on your key ring? My key ring looks like a janitors. I need to remove half of them.
52. How many years at your current job? 2 years 9 months according to LinkedIn.
53. Favorite day of the week? Saturday - you get to enjoy the morning, afternoon, evening AND sleep in the next day.--Zoe I am keeping your answer it is spot on!
54. How many towns have you lived in? Six.
55. Do you make friends easily? Yes.
56. How many people will you send this to? Anyone who reads my blog.
57. How many will respond? Who knows.
